There's 2 things I want to learn but have no one to show me. First, when it comes to wild turkey, how to you clean them. Do you pluck the feathers? What is the process step by step? What is the best way to cook them?I hear they only taste good deep fried. I would like to get into turkey hunting but have no one to show me the ropes. I can probably shoot one OK but it's after that I need help with. Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated.
Secondly, I am going to take up Walleye fishing and really know nothing about it. What are the best baits, lures or methods? Deep water or shallow? Trolling, drifting or casting? I would appreciate any suggestions you may have. Are there any websites to help with these sports?
I've been hunting since I was nine and now I'm 58. I love hunting and fishing but these are two things I haven't tried yet. I live in an area where both sports are basically out my front door.
I love the outdoors and all the sports that come with it. That's why after I retired from my day job I started my website so I could be more involved with sportsmen and women, do something I love and make a living at it. I don't make much. Just barely covers the cost of doing business. But I'm doing what I love and I can help others do what they love by providing them with brand name quality equipment at low low discounted prices. My supplier offers over 20,000 products from 200 of the top brand manufacturers we all know and love.
Please join me in these savings and please consider me a friend and fellow sportsmen. I would love to hear from everyone about anything that's on their mind. I also really do want to hear your tips on the turkey hunting and walleye fishing questions I have.
Your friend,
Jeff
